British F4: Adam Al Azhari wins reverse grid race at Silverstone

The 300th British F4 race was the reverse top 12 race for Silverstone and was a frantic race that saw Adam Al Azhari take victory.

Starting on pole was Hitech GP’s Xavier Avramides who led the way in the opening phases ahead of Rowan Campbell-Pilling and Al Azhari. Campbell-Pilling would make a move coming out of Stowe having a significantly better run over Avramides. Heading into Vale, Campbell-Pilling would send it too deep forcing him and Avramides wide given Al Azhari the opportunity to pass both of them.
Al Azhari kept the lead for the rest of the race, keeping Campbell-Pilling behind despite a brief safety car period caused by Joel Bergström, Al Azhari would win his first British F4 race on the series’ 300th race. Tommy Harfield would finish the race in third taking the win in the Challenge Cup in the process finishing ahead of Thomas Bearman who won in the Rookie Cup while teammate and championship rival Fionn McLaughlin would finish 15th overall and 4th in class.
August Raber would round out the top five ahead of Henry Joslyn and Ethan Jeff-Hall. Pole sitter Xavier Avramides would finish 8th overall and runner-up to Bearman in the Rookie Cup. Leo Robinson and Martin Molnár finish inside the top 10.
