The British F4 championship moved to Snetterton and produced some excellent racing, masterful drives and a few crashes.

The first race held on Saturday saw Fionn McLaughlin start on pole after claiming both the race 1 and race 3 fastest times. The young Irishman took an early and commanding lead before hitting a bollard that took off some of his front wing, ending his chances of winning as he fell into the clutches of his rivals.

Adam Al Azhari then took the lead from there and would not relinquish it as McLaughlin came into the pits promoting Henry Joslyn up to second as he hunted Al Azhari to the checkered flag but could not pass him.

Behind them, Ethan Jeff-Hall would finish third after a five second time penalty was given to Rowan Campbell-Pilling which drops him down the order. Joel Bergström finished 4th ahead of Martin Molnár and Theo Palmer in 5th and 6th.

August Raber would finish 7th initially before a penalty dropped him outside the points meaning Campbell-Pilling would claim that position after his penalty while Chase Fernandez, Thomas Bearman and Chloe Chong rounded out the top 10.

Bearman, gained 10 places from his starting position on the opening lap of the race while Tommy Harfield took the win in Challenge Cup. Trouble for the championship leader Jimmy Piszcyk as he failed to finish.
