British F4: Alfie Slater joins Rodin Motorsport for 2026

2025 Teams Champions, Rodin Motorsport, have signed Alfie Slater for 2026 as he makes his step into single seaters.

Slater started off karting in 2019, showing his speed and ability up the ladder, he would finish third in the LeCont Trophy – OK Junior series in 2022 before making his way into cars for 2024. He would race in the Ginetta Junior Championship claiming consistent results in 2024 with him taking his first podium at Brands Hatch. He would step it up for 2025 where he would take victory in the opening race of the season before following up with another two race victories and six further podiums throughout the season. He would finish fifth in the standings but after missing the final three races at Donington Park, he was third in the standings before that weekend. He now joins Rodin Motorsport as the first driver to be confirmed by the team.
After signing with the team, Alfie Slater said: “I’m very excited to start my single seater journey in British F4 with Rodin.” Speaking on his time in Ginetta Junior, “I had some good results in Ginetta Juniors and I hope to replicate that in F4, but this time come home with the championship.”
Benn Huntingford, the Sporting Director of Rodin Motorsport, said: “We’re pleased to welcome Alfie Slater to Rodin for the 2026 British F4 season. He’s shown real speed and composure, and we believe he’s a strong fit for our programme.”
