Cameron Nelson has announced that he will drive for JHR Developments for the upcoming British F4 Season.

Completing the JHR Developments lineup, Nelson will contest his first British F4 season in a full-time outing. The Welshman impressed in karting, being a British Junior Max Race Winner as well as taking the BNL Golden Trophy in a dominant showing for the youngster. He went Stateside at earlier this year to take victory in the Senior Rotax RMC Winter Trophy in Texas in an excellent result.
Nelson has been putting in the mileage across the winter period, testing with JHR at both Jerez and Silverstone in various conditions, proving his skill and gaining experience ahead of the season opener in April.
After signing, Cameron Nelson said: “I’m really excited to be joining JHR for the British F4 Championship for my first season in single -seaters. It’s a great opportunity and I’m ready to get the season underway. I’ve had a few days of testing in the car and I’m really enjoying it. It’s very different from what I’m used to but it’s fun to drive. The team are a great bunch of people and have been very welcoming. It’s a good environment to learn in. My plan is to just soak everything up like a sponge. It’s been good so far and I’m feeling really comfortable and confident in what we as a team can achieve.”
Steven Hunter, Team Principal added: “We’re looking forward to seeing how Cameron adapts as he joins what will be a very competitive British F4 field. His achievements in karting have been impressive, and we’re hopeful he can build on that foundation in his first season of single-seater racing. With significant testing planned before the year begins, he’ll have the chance to get fully up to speed. It’s an exciting journey ahead.”
