The American driver started competing in karting back in 2021 after moving to Spain with his family. He would prove his skill across Spanish karting circuits climbing up the ladder before joining British F4 for the 2025 season. Joining Argenti Motorsport, he would take his maiden overall podium and Rookie Cup victory at Oulton Park. He would earn three more rookie podiums and multiple points finishes to take home seventeenth in the overall standings and sixth in the Rookie Cup.

Now for 2026, he will make the switch to Chris Dittmann Racing for his second British F4 season where he looks to push himself further up the grid with a year of experience in the category.

With the announcement of him joining CDR, Henry Mercier said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Chris Dittmann Racing for the 2026 season. They have proved that they are a top contender in this series. With the experience I gained last year and our combined commitment, I’m confident that we will have success next season. I’m really eager to get started!”

Team Principal, Chris Dittmann, said: “We’re excited to welcome Henry to the team. He performed really well in his rookie season in British F4 and showed strong promise. Now that he knows not only the car, but the circuits, we will both be looking to go a step further and challenge for race wins and beyond. I certainly believe that Henry can be a title contender. Chris Dittmann Racing has proven we can win races, so together we’ll be a very strong combination.”
