The Rodin Motorsport driver would have the best Friday he could dream of setting a record-breaking lap beating his own qualifying lap record of the circuit that he set in 2023 by over half a second. While it was pole position for Piszcyk, his lap would ultimately be bettered by Ethan Jeff-Hall who set a time just over half a tenth faster than him. But a grid penalty would send him down the field giving the Rodin driver pole.

Piszcyk would continue to lead off the line from the rest of the field before a safety car was brought out at the end of the first lap. Rookie Cup championship leader Fionn McLaughlin would pull himself up the order to second place and would start the green flag running behind him. The championship leader Tommy Harfield meanwhile had issues with Leo Robinson off of the restart with both of them falling down the order and neither finishing the race.

Piszcyk took advantage of having the lesser experienced McLaughlin behind him and built himself a small gap between them, but it never went over a second between them. Piszcyk maintained the lead to win the race ahead of McLaughlin in second who took another Rookie Cup win. Meanwhile last season’s Rookie Cup winner Martin Molnár would finish on the podium ahead of Henry Joslyn and August Raber. Thomas Bearman would finish in 6th overall as well as second in the Rookie Cup class ahead of Jeff-Hall, Henry Mercier, Yuhao Fu and Cole Hewetson who completed the top 10. Charlie Edge took victory in the Challenge Cup after Harfield’s retirement.
