McLaren junior Dries Van Langendonck takes victory in the opening round of the British F4 season at Donington Park.

With the largest grid on record, the British F4 season started with a bang as an epic qualifying session led to twenty-three cars being separated by under one second. But it was Langendonck who claimed pole position ahead of Theo Palmer and Jarrett Clark. Ethan Jeff-Hall and Joseph Smith completed the top five on the grid.

The McLaren development driver would soon storm off into the distance in the early phases taking a lights-to-flag victory in dominating fashion. Jeff-Hall would finish second fighting off Palmer and Smith throughout the race in an epic battle between the three. However, Jeff-Hall would lose out on his second place after a post-race penalty for track limits dropped him down to eighth. Smith would just miss out on the podium while Cash Felber completed the top five.

George Proudford-Nalder would take an excellent sixth on debut ahead of Ethan Carney. Adam Al-Azhari and Tommy Harfield complete the top ten.
