Fionn McLaughlin claims the British F4 title in his rookie year with two races to spare after claiming victory at Brands Hatch. Meanwhile, Jimmy Piszcyk and Tommy Harfield also claimed victories to round out the season.

Race one took the second fastest times from qualifying to decide the grid which saw McLaughlin take pole ahead of championship rival Piszcyk who was one of only two drivers who could stop McLaughlin from taking the title.

At the start, it would be Piszcyk who jumps into the lead, getting the better start in comparison to McLaughlin while Adam Al Azhari applied pressure to the Red Bull Junior. However, Al Azhari couldn’t quite match McLaughlin once he settled into a rhythm and then set off after Piszcyk. The pair would go for fastest lap after fastest lap as the championship battle could be decided upon who could take it to decide if McLaughlin took the title, or if the championship battle continued into Sunday. Piszcyk would cross the line to take victory, but McLaughlin had done enough to seal the title as neither claimed fastest lap by race end as Al Azhari in fourth took it from both of them. Ethan Jeff-Hall claimed the final podium spot ahead of Al Azhari while Martin Molnár completed the top five. Harfield pipped Chase Fernandez for sixth while Xavier Avramides, Oleksandr Savinkov and Thomas Bearman completed the top ten.

Race two would see Harfield claim victory from pole position in an excellent show of speed while Cole Hewetson took his maiden British F4 podium with second while also taking the Rookie Cup victory. Fernadez initially took third place but was later disqualified post-race for failing scrutineering. McLaughlin would be promoted to third from eighth on the grid while Bearman and Jeff-Hall complete the top five. Dries Van Langendonck finished sixth ahead of Molnár and Al Azhari while Henry Joslyn and Piszcyk complete the top ten.

Heading into the final race of the season, Hitech had a 27.5 point lead over Rodin Motorsport but it would soon turn on its head after Piszcyk, who put in an excellent run in qualifying to claim pole position for race three of the weekend, would go on to take victory just ahead of Al Azhari by half a second meaning it was a Rodin one-two. Meanwhile ahead of Jeff-Hall, McLaughlin and Van Langendonck completed the top five. Molnár would finish in sixth place just behind the Belgium rookie while Fernandez, August Raber, Harfield and Bearman complete the top ten. This meant Rodin Motorsport claimed the Teams Championship by one and a half points in a shocking turnaround.
