After starting from third on the grid, championship leader Fionn McLaughlin extends his championship lead after another race win on the season.

McLaughlin would get an amazing start to rocket passed Tommy Harfield and Ary Bansal to take the lead early on. Further back, drama would occur with an incident sending Henry Joslyn and Thomas Bearman out of the race at Becketts on the opening lap. Throughout the remainder of the race, Harfield would keep McLaughlin under a lot of pressure, but the Irishman remained unphased to take victory ahead of Harfield who couldn’t find an opportunity to overtake all race. Bansal would complete the podium spots and take victory in the Challenge Cup as well.
Further down the field, Jimmy Piszcyk would claim fourth ahead of Ethan Jeff Hall and Dries Van Langendonck as the pair fought hard over fifth place. However, luck would not be on the Belgian’s side as he would be disqualified from the race for failing post-race scrutineering. Adam Al Azhari would take sixth after the disqualification ahead of Rowan Campbell-Pilling. Martin Molnár would have to settle for eighth ahead of August Raber and Chase Fernandez who complete the top 10.
