The final British F4 race of the Snetterton weekend saw Fionn McLaughlin claim his maiden victory in the series.

McLaughlin started on pole and after having the chance at his first win taken away from him only the day prior due to front wing damage, he aimed to claim it with a second opportunity at the top step.
McLaughlin got away with a lighting start and didn't look back as he pulled a gap to the rest of the field. Meanwhile, Henry Joslyn held second place early on before having to fight Martin Molnár. The two would fight heavily but Molnár came out on top.
The former championship leader, Jimmy Piszcyk, would make an excellent early climb up the field. Starting from 13th he would find his way up the field to being just outside the podium. An intense battle between August Raber, Tommy Harfield and Joel Bergström over 5th place saw the two fight right until the line.
But, no one could challenge McLaughlin as the Rookie Cup Championship leader went on to win his first race of the season. Molnár would finish second ahead of Joslyn in the final podium spot. Piszcyk secures fourth ahead of Harfield, Bergström and Raber after their intense fight for 5th. Theo Palmer would finish in 8th ahead of Ella Lloyd and Thomas Bearman who round out the top 10.
This result means McLaughlin now leads both the Rookie Cup and Overall Championship. Molnár sits behind McLaughlin by 9 points in the overall championship while Piszcyk is only 3 points further back. Raber, who was leading the championship heading into the race, sits 4th in the standings 14 points off of the championship lead.
