Martin Molnár claimed the first win of the British F4 races at Thruxton in difficult mixed conditions.

With Henry Joslyn starting from pole after another excellent qualifying and looked to try and finally claim his first win of the season. But a lighting start by Molnár from third on the grid shot the Virtuosi driver into the lead in which he would not relinquish.
However, the rest of the field’s race was not that straight forward as Jimmy Piszcyk and Thomas Ingram Hill would find themselves in trouble on the opening lap after contact between the two. A few laps later, more chaos would emerge as the Argenti of August Raber would lose the rear wheel at the chicane ultimately ending the race of Adam Al Azhari and Ella Lloyd. The incident and the start of rain falling meant that a red flag was thrown with a 10-minute restart being declared.
Molnár led the way again off the restart, keeping Leo Robinson behind while Fionn McLaughlin tried to pry the final podium spot away from Joslyn. McLaughlin ending up finding his way through before it was announced post-race he had gained an unfair advantage.
With more cars spinning off due to significantly declining weather conditions, the Safety Car would be deployed, and racing would not be resumed. This would leave Molnár taking victory from Robinson while Joslyn would round out the podium. McLaughlin would take home 4th, and the Rookie Cup win ahead of Salim Hanna who would take home 5th positions while Theo Palmer, Rowan Campbell-Pilling, Ary Bansal, Tommy Harfield and Xavier Avramides would finish in the top 10 positions.
