Jimmy Piszcyk took race 2 victory at Donighton Park weekend in his quest to catch championship leader Fionn McLaughlin.

Piszcyk started from third on the grid behind Arjen Kräling and Ethan Jeff-Hall as Argenti Motorsport start with a front row lockout. Piszcyk got an excellent start to jump into the lead of the race before reaching the first turn while team-mate Adam Al Azhari would also find his way passed the two Argenti’s before the first turn. The pair remained out front unchallenged for the remainder of the race leaving Piszcyk to take victory from Al Azhari in a Rodin Motorsport one-two.
The final podium spot was not as smooth sailing as the Argenti squad were left in a three-way fight over third place as Kräling and Jeff-Hall would fight with August Raber in an epic exchange between the three drivers. The three were wheel-to-wheel for the majority of the race before Jeff-Hall came out on top. Raber would finish in fourth after dispatching of Kräling who ended up in a battle with Thomas Bearman and Dries van Langendonck. Bearman would manage to find his way by to claim fifth place while Kräling would drop to sixth, managing to stay ahead of Bansal who finished seventh while van Langendonck would receive a penalty a finish ninth.
Further down the order, McLaughlin and Henry Joslyn would make contact which would send Joslyn spinning and break McLaughlin’s front wing. McLaughlin’s closest championship rival at the time, Martin Molnár, took advantage of this collision to jump into the top ten before ending up with an issue that dropped him down the order. This allowed Oleksandr Savinkov the opportunity to take eighth after van Langendonck’s penalty and Henry Mercier to complete the top 10.
