Leo Robinson would take the race 2 win at Thruxton after heavy rainfall delayed the start of the race but eventually getting underway.

Chase Fernandez would lead the way early on but would come under pressure from Thomas Bearman as the two fought at the midway point of the race. Bearman would make the move as the young Hitech driver looked to be on course to take his first race win in British F4. But a late charge by Robinson who passed Fernandez for second and was on the hunt for Bearman for the lead into the latter part of the race.
With only a couple laps to go, Robinson makes a move for the lead to snatch it away from Bearman and then starts to break clear as he comes home to take victory ahead of Bearman who takes second place and the win in the Rookie Cup.
Behind the top 2, James Piszcyk would finish on the final step of the podium while Fionn McLaughlin would also manage to jump ahead of Fernandez who completes the top 5. Adam Al Azhari would finish ahead of Salim Hanna, who on debut has taken two Challenge Cup wins in two races so far. Martin Molnár came home in 8th while Tommy Harfield and Ethan Jeff-Hall complete the top 10.
