The 2025 British GT Season comes to a close with Charles Dawson and Kiern Jewiss taking the GT3 crown while Marc Warren and Jack Brown take the GT4 title.

The leading 2 Seas Motorsport squad of Dawson and Jewiss went into the weekend with a 28.5-point lead over their nearest rival. However, it wasn’t smooth sailing for them as weather and penalties played a factor. Qualifying for GT3 saw the Barwell Motorsport squad claim a one-two with Rob Collard and Hugo Cook, taking pole position ahead of teammates Alex Martin and Sandy Mitchell. Dawson and Jewiss would qualify fourth ahead of championship rivals Jonny Adan and Giacomo Petrobelli in sixth, Kevin Tse and Maximilian Götz in seventh and Morgan Tillbrook and Marvin Kirchhöfer in eighth.

The GT4 field meanwhile saw championship leaders Ravi Ramyead and Charlie Robertson come into the weekend with a slender margin over Brown and Warren while Harry George and Luca Hopkinson went into the weekend with an outside chance at the title. GT4 Qualifying saw Mahiki Racing take pole with Like Garlick and Blake Angliss ahead of Ramyead and Roberston. The Optimum McLaren’s would settle for fourth and fifth in qualifying behind the Team Parker Racing Mercedes of Ed McDermott and Seb Morris.

The start of the race saw Collard maintain the lead from Martin in the opening phases pulling a gap early on before Martin pulled Collard in before the pit stop phases. Rain would cause a lot of chaos for the championship contenders though plus incidents between the rest of the field. Dawson and Petrobelli would make contact at the old hairpin with both cars spinning off before Dawson spun Tillbrook around at Coppice a bit later on. This earned the 2 Seas Motorsport car a 10-second time penalty at the pit stop phase plus their maximum Compensation time for winning at Brands Hatch last race. However, the first of the contenders to be ruled out was the McLaren of Tillbrook and Kirchhöfer after Tillbrook spun into the gravel at McLean’s ending their race. A trip into the gravel also came for the other 2 Seas Mercedes as Tse went off the road needing a miracle to overcome the odds to claim the title.

The rain would not help the Blackthorn Aston Martin as once Adam would take over he would need to switch from slicks to wets before the rain eased off causing him to tumble out of the points. Up front though Barwell Motorsport claimed a one-two victory with Martin and Mitchell claiming the victory from Collard and Cook. Tse and Götz would finish on the podium but it was not enough to stop Dawson and Jewiss who finished fourth and took the GT title. Darren Leung and Nick Yelloly rounded out the top five.

The GT4 race would be a much different story. Garlick stormed off the start to a four second advantage over the field with George finding his way passed Ramyead in the opening phases. Disaster would strike for the Mahiki squad as Garlick hit a displaced tyre stack forcing him into the pits. Luckily, the team managed to get the car squared away under the safety car meaning they don’t lose a lap to the leaders. Garlick rejoined the field and pushed forward towards second place before the pit stop phases while George had built up a ten second plus margin over the field. The leaders had to serve the maximum compensation time in the pit stops meaning they were unable to maintain their lead and would ultimately cost them later on.

The rain hit hard with just under three quarters of an hour to go leaving Angliss, who took over from Garlick, to retake the lead of the race. Robertson in the BMW would put pressure on Brown in the second of the McLaren’s but the track had started to dry up enough towards the end that allowed Brown to close up and pass the Ginetta for the race lead. Brown would cross the line to take the victory and the championship for Optimum Motorsport in GT4. Mahiki Racing would finish second with Garlick and Angliss just missing out on the win. Ramyead and Robertson would round out the podium ahead of McDermott and Morris while Salkeld and Templeton complete the top five.
