Reigning British GT Champions Charles Dawson and Kiern Jewiss will race in the Silverstone 500 in one-off entry for 2026.

After claiming the British GT driver’s title in GT3 in 2025, Dawson and Jewiss return with 2 Seas Motorsport for the Silverstone 500 after the pair only finishing 0.6 seconds away from victory last year. They join the two Paradine Motorsport entries of last year’s winners Darren Leung and Dan Harper as well as Phil Keen and Ian Loggie as the race-by-race entries for the Silverstone 500. All three entries will be ineligible to score points this season and all competing for the RAC Trophy which was first awarded at Brooklands in 1932.

With the announcement, Charles Dawson said: “We had a brilliant season in 2025 but narrowly losing to Darren and Dan at Silverstone was a big disappointment. Having the chance to right that wrong, with Kiern, is our primary motivation for returning. The strategy-focused format is also now quite unusual within GT racing, while the longer race distance aligns with what we’re doing in Europe this year. We’d love to add our names to the historic RAC trophy.”
