The first two one-off entries for the upcoming Silverstone 500 has been announced for 2026 by Paradine Competition.

Paradine Competition has confirmed its two one-off entries into the Silverstone 500 for 2026, looking to return to the top step of the race again this season. Their first driver pairing, look to make it a third year in a row taking the top spot with Darren Leung and Dan Harper coming back to defend their crown and also aim to repeat the feat for a third time. The only other driver to have managed to win the race on more than one occasion is Sandy Mitchell, who also looks to go for his third victory at the race.

Leung and Harper will be joined by Ian Loggie and Phil Keen who continue their partnership from their 2024 campaign in the championship. Loggie became the British GT Champion back in 2003 but won the infamous Silverstone 500 race in 2019 in a tense battle with Callum Macleod and Jonny Adam. His co-driver is no stranger to winning races in British GT claiming 19 wins in the GT3 class including the 500 back in 2016 with Barwell Motorsport. This means Paradine Motorsport’s lineup of four former Silverstone 500 winners and three former British GT Champions leave them with an excellent opportunity at victory again.

With the announcement of their return to the race with his own team, Darren Leung said: “Everyone at Paradine Competition is super excited to be returning to the Silverstone 500 again this year. It’s been such a great event for our team in the past. Of course, the target will be to defend our crown. With that in mind it's fantastic to be sharing a car with Dan again. I’d like to also extend a warm welcome to Ian and Phil, who are new to the team but both bring a wealth of experience and a proven track record.”

Dan Harper commented: “I’m very excited to be back with Paradine Competition and Darren for the Silverstone 500. This will be our third attempt together. We've won it both times we've gone for it, so that's a great achievement. We're two of only three drivers to have won it twice, so the goal is straightforward. We want to be the only two drivers to have won that race three times. Of course, coming off a win last year, we'll be full of confidence for it. We've always been a very strong driver pairing and we know that the Paradine BMW is always very fast.”

Ian Loggie said: “I’m looking forward to being back racing again. Silverstone is a great track and the 500 makes it extra special.”

Phil Keen added: “I’m really pleased to be joining Paradine Competition for the Silverstone 500. Silverstone is a great circuit and it’s always special to have the chance to race there. Endurance racing is such a team effort, so for me it’s about bedding in quickly, working well with everyone around me and doing the job as well as I can for the team, and especially for Ian.”
