Stratton and GBR have linked up to form a new team ahead of the 2026 season as they announce they will make a two entry GT4 assault.

The team becomes the first publicly confirmed entry into British GT for 2026 as the team will race with two Aston Martin Vantages under the GBR Stratton Motorsport banner. GBR has years of experience in the GB4 category while Stratton raced Lotuses in British GT. Stratton also sell and service Aston Martin road cars. While no drivers have been confirmed for either of the entries so far, the newly founded partnership will have the full support of AMR in their 2026 campaign. MKH previously ran Aston Martin’s in British GT for 2025 but only competed in three events with a single entry in each. Forsetti Motorsport claimed the Teams Championship in 2024 with the Vantage and Aston themselves have had tons of success in the category.

Roger Bennington, the Team Principal and Founder of Stratton, said: “This is a defining step for both teams. Combining our strengths under the GBR Stratton Motorsport identity, and doing so as an official Aston Martin Racing partner, positions us for another exciting chapter in our history. We cannot wait to showcase what our combined capability can deliver.”

Team Manager, Craig Brunton, said: “Our team is buzzing with excitement as we leave the intense world of single-seater racing behind to embark on a thrilling new chapter in the GT4 category. The next step for us feels incredibly special as we forge a promising new partnership with Stratton Motorsport. It is a dream come true to be competing with a prestigious and high-performance brand in AMR and the entire team is motivated to make an immediate impact on the track.”
