The final pre-season test for the BTCC sees Charles Rainford and Mikey Doble set the fastest times in the final day of pre-season testing.

The morning session was the first time all 21 drivers were on track ahead of the 2026 season with Mikey Doble in the PMR Audi topping the timesheets with a 47.553. He led a PMR 1-2 with Dexter Patterson setting a time only eight hundredths slower than his teammate.

Àròn Taylor-Smith was the fastest Toyota with him going third fastest in the morning session ahead of James Dorlin in the Restart Hyundai. Josh Cook would complete the top five with a time putting him less than two tenths off of Doble.

Daniel Rowbottom would be the sixth fastest driver in the session putting in solid laps in the new Plato Racing Mercedes ahead of Chris Smiley and Aidan Moffat. Gordon Shedden would be ninth fastest while Lewis Selby completed the top ten. Selby also set the most number of laps in the session with 71 laps.

Nineteen drivers were seperated by just over seven tenths of a second with only Ricky Collard, who had only managed a single outlap all morning, and Nic Hamilton, who caused the only red flag of the session, falling outside that bracket.

The afternoon session saw the BMW of Rainford set the overall fastest time of the day in the afternoon session on his final lap of the day with a 47.102. Dan Cammish, who had set the fastest time of the day up until then, would remain second ahead of Cook, Patterson and Doble who complete the top five again.

Ash Sutton would set the sixth fastest time ahead of fellow champion Shedden while Morgan, Moffat and Smiley completed the top ten which was covered by six tenths of a second.

Collard, who only set a single outlap in the morning session, certainly made up for it in the afternoon with 79 laps completed in the session.
