Power Maxed Racing have announced that Mikey Doble will remain with the team for 2026.

Heading into his fourth season with the team, Doble will race alongside Aiden Moffat under the LKQ Euro Car Parts with Power Maxed Racing banner for 2026 after a newly found partnership between the two brands.
Joining the BTCC in 2023 after a very successful 2022 campaign, claiming the Ginetta GT5 Challenge – Pro championship as well as the BMW Compact Cup, he joined Power Maxed Racing in a solid debut season. In his first weekend in the BTCC, he would claim fifth at Donington Park before putting together what was a solid season of consistent points finishes throughout the year. He would do even better in 2024 where he would claim points in all but two races, he competed in that season including his maiden podium in the BTCC at Oulton Park.
2025 saw an even strong start to the season for Doble, with him even further into the points claiming top tens in five of the first eight races of the season before going on to take his first victory in the BTCC at Snetterton. However, the season would take a sudden turn after Croft where the PMR factory burned down including historical cars and their Vauxhall Astra’s for the season. Fortunately for the team, they were able cobble together spare tools and after being given two Cupra Leon’s by their rivals at Un-Limited Motorsport and the Patterson family, they were able to complete the rest of the season despite the disaster.
2026 sees a fresh start for PMR, with them running the Audi A3 Saloon and with backing from LKQ Euro Car Parts, the team is rebuilding towards the start of the season with the Independents championship in mind.
After signing, Mikey Doble said: “Last season showed the character of this team more than anything else. What happened off track would have broken most operations, but PMR responded with grit and determination. Keeping me in the fight for Independent honours, that meant a lot to me. Four years together now isn’t just continuity, it’s commitment. We know each other, and we know what we’re capable of. I’m more motivated than ever to reward that belief with the results we all know we can achieve.”
Team Principal of Power Maxed Racing, Adam Weaver, said: “2025 demanded resilience from everyone involved, and Mikey never once took a step back. His professionalism, feedback and determination were critical during a period that could have easily derailed momentum. In this championship, stability is powerful. Heading into our fourth year together gives us a platform built on experience rather than promise. We’re proud of how we responded, but our focus is firmly on what comes next. I’ve always said if we can retain the right driver for five years we will challenge for championships in that time, I suppose it’s time to prove that.”
