Tom Ingram took victory in race 2 of the day at Knockhill after passing the BMW's to secure the top spot and to further cement his championship lead.

After winning in race 1, Jake Hill would start from pole ahead of teammate Charles Rainford. Ingram would start in third after making the switch on the last lap in opening race with teammate Senna Proctor.
Hill, Rainford and Ingram would get a solid start but Proctor would drop 3 positions off the line losing out to Dan Cammish, Aiden Moffat and Ash Sutton. Ingram would then go for a move into the final corner on Rainford to take second away from the BMW and then to go on the hunt against reigning champion Hill. Hill would defend into the final corner as Ingram would pile on the pressure on lap 2. Ingram would go for a dive up the inside into the final chicane on lap 3 as the two would continue to go side by side down to the hairpin before the Hyundai completed the move.
Meanwhile, his teammate Tom Chilton would make up 7 positions in the opening 3 laps as he tries to push up through the field. Proctor would manage to get by both Sutton and Moffat to get back to 5th while Cammish would take third place away from Rainford on lap 4 as the soft tyres start to work better against the medium running BMW's. Moffat would make his way by Rainford as the BMW's swap positions cleanly on lap 7. Soon Sutton would make a move by Rainford to go up to 6th place as he tries to catch Moffat and minimise the loss in the championship to Ingram.
DeLeon would pass his teammate of Rainford before setting his sights on Moffat as the pair start to squabble for position on lap 10, leaving no room for team orders as DeLeon would attempt a move around the outside but Moffat would defend successfully that time around. A few laps later, DeLeon would attempt the move again, maintaining a better run on the exit of the final corner to slide pass for 6th.
Further up the front, Hill would have to defend from Cammish but a mistake would allow the NAPA Ford by for second place before Hill went off at the first chicane which subsequently meant he struggled for the next lap allowing Proctor and Sutton to pass for third and fourth.
Proctor would have to defend hard against Sutton as the NAPA tried to force the door open with switchback after switchback by Sutton to eventually bounce across the inside curb of Butchers to complete the move into the final podium spot.
Further down the order, a charging Chilton would manage to make his way into the 9th on lap 17, as he passed Dan Rowbottom after starting at the back of the grid. He then set his sights on teammate Morgan to go for a move on the exit of the final corner to take 8th place.
Proctor would have Hill behind him causing him problems as the BMW found the pace of the mediums start to come back to him trying to reclaim 4th place. Proctor would put his car in all the right places throughout the final part of the race making it difficult for Hill to get by.
Ingram would come across the line to take victory to extend his championship lead. Meanwhile, a switch of positions between Cammish and Sutton would allow Sutton to finish second and Cammish to take home the final podium spot to help Sutton minimise the loss to his championship rival.
Proctor would finish fourth ahead of Hill while DeLeon would take sixth place. Moffat would finish in seventh while Chilton would take eighth place in a solid comeback drive from last. Rowbottom and Morgan would round out the top 10.
