Today, Max Hall announced that he will be leaving Un-Limited Motorsport immediately meaning he will not continue his BTCC campaign this season.

Hall joined the grid as one of the young bright up and comers for 2025, he would be entering the BTCC as the reigning Rookie Class winner in Mini Challenge UK and the runner-up to Dan Zelos who also drove in the BTCC on a few occasions in 2024. Hall would sign with Un-Limited Motorsport’s Cupra effort for 2025 joining fellow young up and comer Dexter Patterson and the returning Nic Hamilton.

The first race weekend would be strong for Hall, claiming points in the opening two races and a 20th in the final race of the weekend at Donighton. But, a difficult weekend at Brands Hatch Indy which involved him ending up in a collision with teammate Patterson that ended both their races and a retirement from Race 3 with car troubles, it was a pretty torrid weekend for Hall. Snetterton would start off the way Brands ended with a mistake through the penultimate corner sending him across the grass into Gordon Shedden, ending both their races.

An upturn in performance would come by the end of the weekend though, maintaining composure across the next two races to end the weekend with another points finish in 14th in what seemed to be a return to Donighton Park form with a solid result. But the following two race weekends would be the final nail in the coffin, a DNF in Thruxton meant he would not start the next two races that weekend and another two DNF’s in Oulton Park after a collision in race 1 and a mistake in difficult conditions ending his race in the gravel in race 3.

Hall announced that he has made the decision to part ways with Un-Limited Motorsport meaning he will not continue with the team for the remainder of the BTCC season.

In a statement with the press release, Max Hall said: "I've made the decision to leave Un-Limited Motorsport and will not be continuing with the team for the rest of the 2025 season. This was entirely my choice. I entered the championship with clear goals and a strong vision for where I want to take my career. While we worked hard together, things didn't align in the way I had hoped.

I'd like to thank everyone at Un-Limited Motorsport for their efforts and support during our time together. I sincerely wish the team continued success.

My focus now is on what comes next. I'm actively exploring new opportunities and looking for the right partners to join me on what I believe will be a bigger and better journey. The ambition hasn't changed - it's only grown."
