BTCC: Nick Halstead joins Power Maxed Racing

The second of the Motor Parts Direct with Power Maxed Racing seats have been filled as Nick Halstead joins the team.

Mr. Crazy Cart will join the team alongside Mikey Doble racing in the Vauxhall Astra now using the number 50 instead of the number 22. Due to the TBL holder entry policy implemented by TOCA, Power Maxed needed to gain permission from TOCA as well as all the other teams in order to sign Halstead to drive a second Astra. This is because all the TBL had been given out prior to the season so all the other holders had to agree before Halstead could race.

Halstead returns to the grid with DreamDrive.Team as part of an innovative collaboration.  DreamDrive is aiming to bring a revolutionary approach to fan engagement throughout the season. Halstead making a return to the grid in the Astra will mark his 4th year entering the BTCC after racing at the Croft round in 2021 before racing two full time seasons in 2023 and 2024.
