With British F4 returning to the UK after racing in the Netherlands in the only overseas round of the season, qualifying saw a number of times deleted across the session, with 40 times deleted for track limits on the Scottish circuit. Despite this, Bearman would claim the fastest time of the session and pole position by 6 hundredths of a second over Campbell-Pilling for Race 3 on Sunday afternoon. Behind them sat Ethan Jeff-Hall and current championship leader Fionn McLaughlin who sit on the second row of the grid ahead of McLaughlin’s championship rival Martin Molnár who took fifth fastest. Ary Bansal would take the Challenge Cup pole claiming sixth overall ahead of James Piszcyk and Challenge Cup Championship leader Tommy Harfield. Theo Palmer and Chase Fernandez round out the top 10 with the whole top 10 covered by three and a half tenths of a second.

The second fastest times which set the grid for race 1 see a role reversal for the two fastest drivers in qualifying as Campbell-Pilling would take race 1 pole ahead of Bearman by less than 2 hundredths of a second. Jeff-Hall would also qualify within a tenth of a second of pole while McLaughlin would just fall shy in fourth. Bansal would take the Race 1 Challenge Cup pole in the process with a fifth place while Piszcyk and Molnár would take sixth and seventh. Palmer would take eighth while Adam Al Azhari and Fernandez would round out the top 10 of the grid for race 1.
