The entry list for the Legends series is only continuing to grow as 24 drivers have been confirmed for the upcoming year with last years Legends Cars Champion Will Gibson will be back to battle for the title once more. After being the second driver to take three Overall Championships in succession, Gibson looks to take it one further in 2025. However, it will not be easy at title rival and last seasons Elite Cup Champion Jack Parker will certainly be aiming to take away that opportunity from Gibson. Parker is looking to claim his first overall championship in the series.

Inaugural Legends Cars Elite Cup Champion Connor Mills is also returning to the series having won the title in 2023 with three race wins to his name. Despite a more difficult 2024, he still claimed another win on top of this at Donighton Park. Mills looks to not just reclaim the Elite Cup but also go for the Overall Championship in his quest to win the double.

Tyler Read was very close to winning the Elite Cup last season with him only losing out by 5 points by the end of the Cup. He also finished the season third in the overall standings and is looking to claim both titles after being in the series for only a short amount of time.

Another driver that has been confirmed is Andy Bird. Bird will be racing in his fifth season in the series, having taken an early points lead last season after winning the first race, he would consistently be fighting for the top places in the championship throughout the year, cementing himself as a title contender. Bird is also a Rookie Champion having won it in 2021 when he finished 7th in the standings.

Luke Simmons will be aiming to pull himself higher up the standings in 2025. Finishing 7th in both the Overall and Elite Cup standings, the young driver from Lingfield looks promising ahead of the season to come. Another young star looking to make his way up the standings is Jamie Moylan. The Irishman has become a consistent front runner as he became a race winner and a multi-time podium finisher in his maiden year in the series. He will also be joined by Owen Lawlor as the pair was apart of POB Racing Team Car Championship winning entry last season.

Chris Needham is another driver who has returned to Legends for 2025 as one of the most exciting and intense drivers will continue to show what he is capable of. He won all three races at Snetterton last year with him being one of the few to achieve that feat. The circuit also saw Needham make his debut in 2020 where he sensationally took a win that race weekend.

Returning to the championship is the 2008 Rookie Cup winner and dual title winner for the Scotland’s Legends Series in 2009 and 2011 Ross Marshall. Ross is a huge talent who also has had a lot of success in rallying and is looking to take home gold in the UK Series. 2011 Champion Stephen Treherne is also aiming to reclaim his crown while many others are looking to claim their first like Nick Price, Matt Knight and former runner-up Steve Whitelegg.

Mike and Oli Schlup return as the father and son duo have become staples of the series. Oli became a championship contender over these last few years finishing last year with three race wins and taking fifth place in the Elite Cup and sixth in the Overall Championship. Meanwhile Mike is a former Team Car Champion and is entering his 11th year in the series, looking to better his championship finish of 12th from 2018, 2019 and 2021.

A driver returning for the first time since 2022 is Rickie Leggatt while Most Improved Driver of 2024 Ben Mahoney will contest his second season of Motorsport at any level. Newcomer and former British soldier James Pendelton looks to make his debut in the series after 12 years of service. Cooper Cup winner James Newbery will return for a sixth year in his #2Mater as he aims to work his way up the field while Graham Butler returns for his second year in the series, after making good progress in his debut year.

The first event takes place at Donighton Park on the 29th and 30th of March where all these drivers will once more fight for the title.
